Notice to Consumers

In accordance with Texas House Bill 4224, Section 181.105 of the Health and Safety Code, all mental health clinicians are required to relay the following information to their clients.

Requesting Your Health Care Records

You have the right to request a copy of your mental health records.

If you would like access to your clinical records, please submit a written request to either your clinician or the mental health practice. Your written request may be submitted either via email, the secure client portal, or in writing. Upon receiving the request, the clinician will provide you with a copy of your records as in accordance with Texas law as well as applicable privacy regulations.

Contacting the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TBHEC)

The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TBHEC) regulates all licensed mental health professionals within the state of Texas.

Filing a Consumer Complaint
